First question, did you select “retire according to history”? Doesn’t look like it. I take it development is on. What about talent change randomness? That would be my guess.
When I play with historical player but with retire according to history off I usually see player’s rating take a dive after age 33 but if I replay the league some of the same player’s will have their ratings go up for a few years and then take a dive.
