RASCALS, TYPHOONS, COTTON KINGS, VIPERS ARE IPA POWER PICKS... WHITE RIVER AND EASTSHORE TO VIE IN PRO CUP FINALS
There are some new kids in town in this year's Islandian Pro Alliance Pro Cup playoffs... among the IPA Elite 8 newcomers are the Kenwood Wildcats and the Eastshore Cotton Kings... Kenwood has not appeared in the postseason since 2052 and Eastshore last played in 2056... 3 clubs are returning again this year for another crack at the prestigious prize... defending Pro Cup champion Turon is back for the 5th straight season, Valmara for the 4th successive time and Valka is appearing for the second year in a row... at the top end of the success scale the Valmara Vipers are making their 30th appearance in the postseason playoffs, Turon its 25th and Volusia for the 15th time... the Vipers and Typhoons will be trying to win their 5th Pro Cups... Valka and White River are seeking their very first IPA title... Pro Cup favorite White River and the #3 choice Eastshore are forecast to battle for the 2073 Islandian Pro Alliance Trophy... current Pro Cup possessor Turon and Valmara are highly-regarded, too.
Playoff action begins this Friday with White River (106-48) at home against the Kenwood Wildcats (94-61) in the Tycobbian Union First Round... Turon (96-58) will challenge the South Fork Stallions (97-57) on the road... in the Ruthlandian Union First Round it's the Valka Blackhawks (95-59) visiting Eastshore (96-58) and the Valmara Vipers (98-56) welcoming the Volusia Vigilantes (89-65)... all three rounds of the postseason series are the best-of-5 games.
