It hasn't yet. And the ones I've been working on might get blocked now because I'm up against the "foreign" player limit. I had cleared a spot to buy a defenseman, but because I wasn't sure if either of these deals (both with the same club) would go through, I found a free agent and signed him instead.
If it's supposed to work this way and I'm not missing a step, that's good. I'm just used to OOTP telling you exactly what's going on (expect a response in a few days, yada yada), so I wasn't sure.
I found the AI GM's real-life LinkedIn profile, but he probably wouldn't see the humor in me trying to move the negotiation to that realm.
