A high scoring game 3 saw the Avs score 5 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to get a 7-4 victory.
In spite of poor defensive performances again from LW Milo Holland and RW Cedric Langevin, the good play of Tommy Lockhart, and this time LD Luke Bosum, stood out and the Avs were able to win with offensive firepower, not generally a hallmark trait of this team.
