In game 2 it was Nashville's turn to score 3 goals in the 3rd period to break a 1-1 tie and even the series.

The Avs had a number of poor defensive performances in support of Goalie Terry Ross, in particular young LW Milo Holland, RW Cedric Langevin, and LD Luke Bosum (who is primarily an offensive defenceman and did finish the season with 18 goals scored).
