Have there been any official comments on what the MLB Lockout might mean for development of OOTP23? It seems to me like it could have a significant impact on what features can be delivered. With the unknown end date, and a likelihood of multiple rule changes, what are the chances that OOTP23 releases later than usual or even skips a year? I'm not sure that skipping a year is an option anymore, as they need to feed the Perfect Team cash cow, but the "core game" may be stuck in limbo until we know what the landscape of MLB looks like going forward. Maybe we could see a 22.5ish version this year with a refreshed Perfect Team but minimal changes to the core game?
