I believe this means you hold their NHL rights, but they weren't drafted. Hence no 'acquired' date, therefore no listed expiry date.

These players would all be signing entry level deals, so they won't be waiver eligible, meaning you can assign them to a farm team without the risk of losing them.

Same length of time as if they were playing for the big club. A contract's a contract and the expiry date applies no matter where they play.

If you click on the team 'Roster' tab and then on the 'Injury List' tab, you'll see everyone who is currently unavailable. (LTIR included).

It varies on a case-by-case basis. Depending on how long the player has been in the league and/or how many games he's played.
