Here's a simple strategy. With your 1000 PP's from the starter kit, buy the cheapest bronze Build-a-Legend card you can find. Complete its silver mission by buying irons and bronzes. You should be able to buy the starter card and the cards for the mission for an average of less than 600 PP's.

Submit all the missions, including the silver lock, and you'll get 4 standard packs. Since the average standard pack gives you 6-700 PP's (warning, most give you around 75-150) you will average about a 2000 PP profit on your mission if you sell all the cards. Do all 30 guys, and you'll have 60,000 PP's or cards worth some portion of that and the rest in liquid PP's.

And as a side benefit, you'll have a decent start toward a silver tournament team. Then use the PP's you have to roll through the live missions. Presto, you have a team that will be pretty good for a Rookie league. But don't be in a hurry to get out of the Rookie league until you've completed 1 or 2 FH missions, preferably from the same division. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon (unless you want to drop a few hundred a month into buying PP's - then you can sprint).
