Okay let's be clear, this thread was started because there was something unusual and very inconsistent. I posted the question about the devs because like anyone, I had some concerns about the strangely anomalous results I was seeing, but I didn't call out a person because I was asking whether, in general, the devs monitored for strange behavior. Again, even my post said that I understood that people spend money and it could be that. Apparently, it was all a lucky pull.

Seems like my question is a question that, I presume, a lot of people who don't spend a lot of time on here might ask or be concerned about. I also get that it can be viewed as abrasive, and that wasn't my intention.

Magus, I appreciate the replies, even though you didn't have to. If you got lucky and that one pull financed your entire team, congrats, that's awesome. Sucks for those of us who fight our way through the league, but we deal or we stop trying.

You would expect a bunch of seasoned vets on here to know how to reply with a good explanation (or to ignore someone if they think that person is stirring the pot). A couple of folks made constructive replies, and I appreciate that (even if some of it was attached to incredible sarcasm). Others, not so much (even one seems like a veiled threat that some whole "league" would come at me like some crazy online army). Not a welcoming community thing to do. But go ahead. You're only hurting the game you love.

I shrug. Enjoy your game, folks. Nothing to see here.
