I prefer non-artificial turf-using parks, actually. Does Kansas City use artificial turf now or not? I know St. Louis most likely converted to natural grass sometime after the football Cardinals left town, but not entirely sure when, at the moment.
I generally do not like non-retractable domed stadiums, either. So am not really a fan of stadiums like the Astrodome, for example. At least for baseball and football purposes, anyway, because I feel those should normally be outdoor sports, not indoor ones.
Thank you for your input, jg2977. I hope to have each team in the GTL be in a park with a capacity of at least 25,000 apiece by 1910, if not sooner. But I'm not quite sure which parks to assign to each team in it yet.
What should I look for, perhaps, in terms of players for Motley in the coming seasons so as to fit the park I might choose for them better, seeing as the 1902 season for the GTL will be starting soon in one of my dynasties? If the players can play multiple positions well, as well, that would be great, of course.
Motley was really bad in most significant statistical categories for the 1901 inaugural season of the Good Times League, and finished 45-109 for the season. I would like us to get at least to 55 wins, if not at least 60 wins, by the end of the 1902 season, if possible, legitimately enough, in truth. But we still need to build a good core group of players up to lay a good foundation for our team's future history, you know, in any case, jg2977.
Talk more later, if and when I can, I'm sure. Until then, however, I'll close this post and await potential replies from you and/or anyone else in this thread, most definitely. CD out.
