What he said. It makes sense if you think about it, otherwise the same cards would just do the rounds and be sold on, with everyone completing missions almost as soon as they appear.

The good news is that, as a rule of thumb, even locked mission cards are more valuable to you than selling them, particularly earlier on in the cycle when we have no idea what future missions they may also be used in. If there was one piece of advice on this year's game I could pass on, based on my own mistakes, it would be never sell cards other than duplicates - never. I say 'rule of thumb' because there are a couple of exceptions to the rule, as usual, which are;

1. Cards you are confident you can buy back without being stung too painfully later; that's generally bronze and below but also virtually all live cards later in the cycle (i.e. now.)

2. A valuable card you pull early. By far the best use for this is selling it, and using the PP to buy the best bronze, then silver and if you can even gold tourney teams that you can. That will set up a good 'income' of packs and occasionally even good cards to start and keep your team really rolling.

P.S. If you are new to the game, don't expect to make much progress now.. there are far too many people way ahead of you. Use the time to become familiar with how it works, study other peoples' teams (especially those winning the tourneys) and you'll be off to a flyer when April comes around. If you are spending any 'real' money - save it until then.
