Felix Hernandez

In a 2020 interview with The Athletic, King Felix discussed why he was trying to hook on withthe Orioles after his tenure with Seattle ended.... “The Hall of Fame. I think I had a shot to go into the Hall of Fame. But I had a few numbers that I (needed to) keep up, like wins and strikeouts,” he said. “So, if I get to those goals, I think I’m gonna be set for the Hall of Fame.” He certainly has had an impressive career. He debuted in 2005 with the Seattle Mariners at age 19, won the AL Cy Young Award in 2010 and placed second in 2009 and 2014. A six-time All-Star and two-time AL ERA champ, Hernández is 169-136 with a career 3.42 ERA and 2,524 strikeouts in 2,729 2/3 innings pitched in a 15-season career, all with the Mariners. “If I get to 200 (wins) and like 3,000 strikeouts, I think I have a shot for the Hall of Fame,” Hernández said. “Let me tell you something: I have the numbers because I’ve got the innings. I’ve got the strikeouts. But I think my goal is to get 3,000 (strikeouts) and 200 wins.”

The article has takes from several BBWAA HOF voters including Jay Jaffe doing a JAWS look and sadly, it doesn't look good for Felix. It was Andrew Baggarly, The Athletic, San Francisco Giants writer, who summed the problem up most succinctly however... "If Santana dropped off the ballot, I can’t see Félix getting any meaningful traction."

This facegen is one that shipped with the game a couple years ago. I narrowed it (the game plumps him up and doing so in the fg too only compounds it) and took some of the shine from the lights out of his cheeks. I usually don't like the smiling ones that are the default but didn't mind this one. Oddly, I didn't see an fg for him at all in the current CU Facepack. Hope it's close to what you were looking for
