I find he's usually between 4 and 10 overall (going by memory).
Somehow in my historical sims he always ends up on a team with an established center, whose rating is already 3.5 or up (again by memory).
I can't remember all the names, but he rarely, if ever cracks the top 12 (now 15) in scoring and I find he usually ends up topping out at a 3 star player due to being buried. In the last game he was drafted by Chicago, who had Nicholls and and established Center. Nichols development kept ahead of Hawerchuk, so he stayed on 3rd or 2nd linemostly. A couple years he topped a point a game.
