If you're referring to the WHL, OHL and QMJHL, that's known as Major Junior.
Junior A. is not playable. Junior A is things like the BCHL, AJHL, SJHL, MJHL, OJHL, etc. It's a step below and often used as as the farm team for Major Juniors but also stand alone. They also feed directly into both the NCAA and Canadian College leagues.
