OAKS WIN LAST GAME, CAJUNS LOSE... PELHAM CROWNED KING OF THE SUPREME LEAGUE
It came down to win or lose on the final day of the South Island Supreme League... the Pelham Oaks won their game with last place Braxton, while the Bar Harbor Acadians were upset by the 4th place Delta Stars... Pelham is the 1956 league champion... the Oaks were 8-2 for the year, while the Acadians slipped to 7-3 and were tied for the runner-up spot with last year's champ Jackson.
Pelham blasted Braxton 10-4 on the last day of the season... Delta whipped Bar Harbor 4-1... and Jackson nudged St. Pete 2-1.
