Perhaps a setting where "owner controls" only applies to human teams? But still have the current game economy be the limiting factor for the AI. IE there will still be haves and have nots but, all AI teams, big market or small, would have access to all cash. Though this still might not "fix" teams going into the red. After all just giving them more cash doesn't mean they won't spend themselves back to where they were with the limits 
It's an interesting discussion  At season's end I'll be in test mode and see how it works out. |
