I know there was an issue with the Fastsprings server a week or so ago. Maybe it's having problems again? I would also suggest to always mention what version you have, IE PC, Mac. The more information you give the easier it is for someone to help.
In any case, I think, sending a ticket in addition to posting here would be best. If the server is having issues they'll probably be getting a lot of these. If not then at this stage of the release cycle there probably aren't a lot of issues being reported and they may see your issue sooner there.
Also report in the bugs forum too. Like above if it's widespread others either already have or will be joining you soon.
