Pretty much what he said. Except I wish I had the bl**dy PP. TBH.. I need more PP than that to even stay competitive in Diamond once the last 'Franchise Hero' missions drop - and I already have over sixty '100' cards in my roster. Some are much more 'perfect' than others and that money might not even stretch to two of the former.

However, if you have the money to burn, I would suggest you use it to acquire gold and silver tourney teams (forget bronze) and learn to to use them to obtain a consistent 'income' of packs and even the occasional valuable card from tourneys. While it's us FTP folks who depend almost entirely on that route to progress, it certainly doesn't harm those paying real money, either. At a rough guess, my current cards are 'worth' around ten times what that $250 would buy, even on sale. The Professor has used the same route to acquire rather more, and has even reached the Perfect league doing so. I'm banging on, sorry, but the basic point is that you would need to spend far more than that to make a dent in this game this year. So, either go for gaining experience to kick-start you next year... or go treat yourself to a new 3 wood, pair of hiking boots, serious pub crawl or whatever else floats your boat .

P.S. For the record I have spent nothing on PT whatsoever. They have my money, as usual, for the PC game and that's enough. However, I do confess to getting a 'lucky' drop in my intro packs that funded the purchase of a competitive silver tourney team and I was able to push on from there.

P.P.S. For you, and anybody else, spending real money, the earlier you do it the more you will gain in the medium and long term. Concentrate on completing missions and mission sequences that generate cards (not packs) NOT on expensive 'Perfect' cards the value of which sink like a stone, as will their utility.
