I noticed playing historical a lot that, if you have the injury setting as 'fewer', there are hardly any long term injuries (2-3 months or more). The problem is, if you leave it set to 'normal', there are way too many of the short term 10-day type injuries, which force you to have to mess about with your roster and line settings. Of course if you call up a replacement, the injured player immediately recovers, but can't play for 2 weeks due to the injury counter.
This quickly becomes rather tedious when it is happening every 2 or 3 games. The solution is to probably slightly increase the number of long term injuries, or to have separate settings for long term and short term. Also rather than 'normal, 'fewer' etc...it would be better to have a % setting , where normal is 100%. You can then adjust it too 50% or 300% depending on what you want.
