All this talking about Austin Fowler, how he got the start, but no AB in the 6/29/17 game, playing only one inning, and it just occurred to me.....
I was actually AT that Yankees -White Sox game !!
He started in RF, and made a long run towards the foul line for a fly ball, and smashed into the railing, hard...in fact , it was pretty much right in front of us, because our seats were down that line...
My nephew, whose bachelor party it was, spent most of the game, despite being a Yankee fan, yelling at Refsnyder, who subbed in, whom he strongly disliked for some reason...
There was a long rain delay, for which we went out on the walkways to stay dry and got to watch Sanchez and Judge hit the crap out of balls in an outside cage...Sox wound up winning...
Anyway, just thought it was funny that I didn't put 2 and 2 together..
