Anybody know what obscene amount Roger Connor is selling for, in the unlikely event anyone ever does? Hadn't even seen the card before today when I was lurking the league player search looking for potential future acquisitions. Uber performance across the board for what looked like a full season, and only one guy having him suggested a tourney won 'ultra-rare', but nope, he's an HL drop.

I accept the ability creep the standard business model requires to keep the gambling addicted, otherwise disfunctional, and occasionally even very rich spending their money as a reality even as I despise it, but I couldn't help thinking back to Eddie Murray who I pulled and promptly sold when he was still worth something six months ago. Poor Eddie. The right gold cards sell for more now
