Yeah, Jensen definitely needed that texture pack. Unfortunately, he's getting thrashed this spring, but least the rest of the staff seems in good Shea-p.
Certainly the Mets' pitching is better than the ongoing dumpster fire that is Cleveland. I mean, Sheriff Dane Anthony went 6-18, 5.64 last season…and he's now the #2 starter!
Fortunately, one of Mexican legend Arturo "King Arthur" Gonzalez's 32 pro seasons was with Chattanooga in 1980, so the sim has him in Cleveland's system, and he's in the rotation now. (Had a good spring, too.) Will Gonzalez show the form that made him a first-ballot inductee into the Salon de Fama?
Unknown, but even pitching as Gonzalez did in his early years, when he was primarily an outfielder, would be an upgrade for the Tribe.
BTW, the Rangers had the best spring training record (everybody except Mike Easler hit the crap out of the ball) and the AI predicts us to win 104 games. (Ulp!)
Of course Chet Lemon (whom I signed to that big deal after his near-MVP season in 1980) is going to be out all season with post-concussion syndrome. Sigh.
