(Hello, again.)
So we're working our way through Spring Training, and Greg Cochran had a nice start for the Mets. (5IP, 2H, 0R, W) But things are still dire at Shea; they're considering putting their #4 pick, Dave Jensen, in the rotation, without going to the minors at all.
Now, Jensen is a good LHP, but still. IRL, he was also a Mets draftee (#9, IIRC). Pitched for four seasons, never above A-ball, but always good and getting better. Not a full season in either of his two final years, so perhaps some sort of recurring injury?
If there was an injury, it healed eventually. Which, sadly, we know, because he went to Scab camp 10 years later. But since scabs are disgusting scum and traitors to their fellow workers, we shall speak of that no more.
(Really, Doug Sisk? REALLY?? Shame, shame, shame, you sh*thead…)

Perhaps Dave quit out of shame that TCMA misspelled his name? Possible, I guess. (But not likely.)
