Back in the early 90s, the New York Times printed a list of
grunge slang. The slang was an utter fabrication. A hoax. The list is hilarious. It's where lamestain (an uncool person) comes from.
Seattle's NHL team should have been named the Sockeyes (another type of salmon). It's a much better name than the Kraken.
