For a little context, I mention above that Terunofuji has been named the 73rd Yokozuna. That dates back to the 1750s! There is a website somewhat / sort of like a baseball reference that has the records back to then organized for perusal.

The older records are somewhat sketchy. Here is one example for the March 1758 Basho. They have participants and ranks but no recorded results.
