I sim all minors all the time. 600mghz machine and don't notice any slowdown at all. I also play all my games, currently playing a 2k2 season with the Cubs with Rolens opening roster. In a 1969 season I tried playing one game per series and simming the rest but did not like it, dosen't leave me with any feel for what's going on. Whenever you really need your top closer in an important game the AI has tired him out the day before in a game that doesn't mean as much. I'm in no rush to complete seasons as fast as possible
I figure I'll play what I can and when ootp5 comes out I'll import my career to that and continue. I started with Rolen's roster to have a base of players I'm familiar with but look forward to the day that all the current players are retired and my game is filled with fictional players.
