IBO JMW title
Making his 5th title defense, Jermell Charlo came to England to face the unbeaten Brit - James Metcalf.
Charlo dropped James in the 7th with a combo & almost took him out but the gutsy challenger held on until the end of the round.
Despite having both eyes swell (yellow), Jermell cruised to a 15UD: 147-137 & 146-138 twice. James suffered a cut over his right eye & had orange level swelling of his left eye as well.
PL: 473 (42%) to 165 (13%) for the champ who is now 16-1 with 4 KO's.
