Now you have to type "Billy Hoy" or "Charles Bender" to get them to come up in the search engine. I have, up til now, tried to keep the Facepack listings consistent with Baseball Reference in how they address players but I'm undecided if I'll continue to do that.

I received a reply from SABR's Biographical History Chairman, who has not changed the "use name" for historical players and does not take an official position or stance on the baseball-reference decision to rename. I also downloaded the latest Chadwick database feed, updated two days ago, which is similarly unchanged.

At least for the time being, for SABR Pictorial History Committee tracking and photopack(s), I'll continue to keep the historical "use names" that the SABR Biographical History Committee and Chadwick recognize.
