I think I am starting to get a better feel for how I can enjoy PT this year. I did my first theme team and am enjoying it a lot. I will probably do a couple themes next year.
I made the mistake of deciding to throw some money at one of my teams and realized that throwing a little money is very much a short term buzz. I cannot continue to put in whale levels of money. I ended up with a team that completed a few missions faster than my other 2 teams, but other than that, it is now pretty much at the same levels as my other teams, but I can no longer join OL with it and I find myself leaving it to run itself more than my other two. I won't make that mistake again.
