Come join NBC, a 24-team league where franchises started on a level playing field with league-wide draft, equal market sizes, fan loyalty, and fan interest. GM’s will find the format challenging, as it is a break from the OOTP norm. Team’s fortunes will be based on in-game occurrences and not subject to the whims of an owner or subject to market size. Championships and glory must be earned. Losing will only make it more difficult for a franchise to succeed.
We are currently in off-season after season 6 of the league and are transitioning to OOTP22 after the playoffs. Come join as we jump into OOTP22
Some major differences that push the boundaries of strategy for long-time OOTPers in NBC among others.
- Draft Wheel Lottery (not based on record)
- Standard 5-game weekly schedule T-Wed-Fri-Sat-Sun creates new possibilities for managing your pitching staff
- Several tweaks to the MLB financial model that promotes competition and decision-making (eligible for Arb after 2 service years, Free Agency after 5, equal media revenues, equal markets) among other differences
- Fan Loyalty Changes based on results each season

OPEN TEAM:
Portland Potatoes
Portland is a once-proud franchise that has been on the decline the past 3 seasons but is ready to bounce back. Portland has 3 young SP's at league minimum who should free up the franchise to add a hitter or two in free agency this season. If you have pitching in NBC, you can go far.
Harlem Vandals
Led by superstar 2B rookie Derick Fabian along with a 6th-ranked farm system of SP, Harlem is poised to take a step in the right direction. With no long-term contracts on the books and an ability to make moves in FA in NBC due to contract rules, a new GM will be able to make his imprint on this team.
Come join a fun but very competitive league.
