Glen Franklin was the Expos' #1 pick in 1978, #9 overall. (#12 was Kirk Gibson. Just saying.) By 1981, he'd been traded to Philly (for whom?) but not in the game. Here he's getting the shot he never got IRL, not even after posting that .877 for Indianapolis in 1983.
I grant you, the Expos have solved their DP problem, and the pairing of Tim Raines and Tony Phillips seems a vast improvement on Doug Flynn and Chris Speier, but still. It's nice to get a chance.
