Mario De Leon is the only player in arbitration for the Bravos. The 35 year old, 6 foot 2 shortstop was a second round pick with the Pittsburgh Rampage and spent several years in their system before being traded to the Leon Bravos. Despite his imposing size, he doesn't have much power, or offensive prowess for that matter. He is a solid defensive shortstop but has been a negative WAR player.

De Leon and his lawyers are asking the team for 3.52 million dollars for the 2051 season.

"We have been in conversation with De Leon and his people regarding his future with the organization. We are exploring all options, and I'm sure we will find a solution." -Dr. K

The team has a great defensive short stop prospect in AAA in Emanuel Harris. His offense is lacking, but he has been able to post a positive WAR. I think it is worth giving him another shot in AAA with the hopes that he can get above the Mendoza line.
