Dodger1, I'd be interested to find out what your settings were in the league where Ernie got signed by the Phillies.
Did you enable a feature that is disabled by default, or did you disable a feature that is enabled by default? I think one of those two things must be happening.
And if you played through the 1953 season, what happened to Ernie on September 17, when he is scheduled to join the Cubs?
