Pre-1917 leagues - the NHA and PCHA back to 1909 should be relatively straightforward. Before that it was regional leagues CAHL, International League, Trolley League, Federal League etc.. some or all of those would be nice to have at some point.
Much tougher financial budget limits when it comes to contract offers and hiring staff, with gate receipts having more significance, and budgets reflecting the economy of the period e.g. Great Depression, WWII etc..

For me,Adding Custom League in Historical play is a Must, but I think it would be limited to the game set up screen
