As a F2P player, I will post cards even if the profit is low, or even at a break even with the quick sale, just to put them on the market for someone else. I always get at least the QS value, so why not help someone else out.
I rarely bump into the 50 auction max, unless I just opened a bunch of packs. If I need a couple K more for a specific purchase, I may QS instead, but if I am an accumulation mode, then 24 hours isn't that big of a deal.
