Played it quite a bit, but just couldn't wrap my head around it. Guess I was looking for it to be similar to OOTP baseball which I've been playing since version four. From what I remember, it was more of a simulation, no career mode for us as a Manager, couldn't train the fighters. Maybe some of that has changed, but I followed this forum for awhile hoping for an improved version, but became frustrated and gave up.

I was hoping more for a game I used to play in the 90's, and I keep thinking it was World Championship Boxing Manager, but looking that up, it's not the game, but was called something like that. It had black & white photos of two boxers, and when you fought, it was giving you a play by play, and you could see how good or bad your fighter was doing. You could also raise money by betting on fights. It was not an arcadish game, but a regular sim game. I believe you could have up to nine fighters in your stable, and could sell them off, and buy new fighters. They had real fighters, and then of course, fictional ones as well. One guy I believe developed it. And after a fight, you had to train your fighter back to full strength before another fight, which depending on the fighter, could take weeks or more.(game time).
