Drawing inspiration from this 1930s Orioles cap, the St. Louis Canaries of the '30s feature a felted bird on their soutache cap with red chain-stitching highlights (I didn't do the legs because I think they look silly). The home jerseys feature the familiar yellow lettering--big and bold in this instance--but the away jerseys were a brief departure from yellow into a primarily red color scheme with yellow highlights.
