If you're using a custom data path, it's possible that it won't install the updated files to that location when steam re-verifies. You may have to manually copy from the default Steam data/ballparks/models to get updates. Depending on what custom setup you have, we would recommend at least copying over data/ballparks/models/misc/player, but possibly you can include folders further up if you want any other changes that may have come.
