I made a surplus value based trade calculator for OOTP you can use for unleashing your inner Jerry Dipoto.
It's a frankenstein of WARcels (for MLB future WAR calculation), Fangraphs prospect valuation, and surplus value as a whole. Methodology links in the sheet.
Not meant to be a golden hammer, but should give you a sniff test of controlled war and surplus value you would get from trades. Includes options for cash, salary retention, and should work with 20-80 ratings or stats only/mostly.
