I find trading for a First round pick a little more successful with a team that is strapped for cash and in a Win Now mode. I have always had it on. Once in a blue moon, I will get an offer in email where the AI is asking for a player and includes a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Then when I go to discuss, the AI has the "Worst trade ever"...then I most of the time accept the trade just to get their pick.
