I think the Perfect Team league experience is great. But a bit of variance would add much strategy.

A few things could vary from season to season. Roster size: 26-28. DH Rule. & Batters faced per relief pitcher.

Each would be randomly generated at league start. Now, maybe that specialist pitcher to face lefties is worth it. Maybe the expanded roster spot makes a defensive specialist a worthwhile add. Maybe those pitchers who can hit now win the tiebreaker over the same ol'.

It would be minor, but it would, to me, add just enough variance to keep folks alive and fresh.
