I assume these are for defensive plays I occasionally see, with the fielder diving to the ground at shortstop and throwing the man out rather than it being an infield hit as usually happens. They are never flagged as "5 Star plays" in the game narrative, though.
Is there anyplace in the player stats or team stats that shows how many 5 star plays a player has achieved, during the season? I just wondered who the league leaders are in that peculiar stat... obviously OOTP keeps track of these internally someplace.

Thanks for bringing this up. I recently got the same award, which sent me hunting, in vain, for who on my team made these plays.
