Gep, Bishop Cleared to Play with Minor Injuries
Diamond City 3B Allen Bishop and 1B Oren Gep were both injured in yesterday's game while running the bases. Both were also cleared to play with minor injuries. The Swatters medical staff administered a stimpack to each to ensure they can be a full go.
Bishop left the game after experiencing hamstring tightness while running the bases, while pulled an abdominal muscle while sliding into third base on a triple. He also left the game, but could play today with or without the stimpack.
Diamond City manager Bucky Bachelor called the stimpacks used "cautionary." The Swatters have two stimpacks remaining for use in the series.
