I've noticed that about early seasons. Injuries occur October to June (like a modern season) every though the Stanley Cup is awarded in March. The game acts like the teams are still playing regarding injuries. I know players can get injured in the off-season, but who cares about a rash of day to day injuries 2 months after the season has ended?
