It could be? Thing is, none of us knows what's going on behind the scenes, only what each party hopes to share. I can see arguments for both sides: "Rodgers is a diva b/c he's under contract and should just strap up and play," or "Green Bay isn't doing enough to take advantage of the rarity of a QB with his talent to go for it every year." My feeling is he'll be back and say that the stories were overblown, and it'll be grim-faced handshakes all around.
