1. Reno Armada
Managed by: Lee Slack (3rd Season)

Top Players: Bill Steen, James McCann, Alex Avila
Top Prospects: Ray Grimes, Wade Miller, Stephen Drew

Comments: they got better in the 2nd half, don't expect much, a .500 season would be accomplishment.

2. Saskatoon Beavers
Managed by: Steve McGrogan (2nd season)

Top Players: Tom J Hughes, Andy Pettitte, Ducky Holmes
Top Prospects: Jim Abbott, Frank Castillo

Comments: they are a bit far from contention, and even a .500 season but they have been slowly adding role players

3. Tucson Tomahawks
Managed by: Rich Rienstra (3rd season)

Top Players: Bump Hadley, George Grantham, Orlando Cepeda
Top Prospects: High Pockets Kelly, Bob Robertson, Billy Redmond

Comments: This team got better last year and added a superstar like Grantham, not ready to win the division but can complete daily

4. San Antonio River Kings
Managed by: Jerry Williams (5th season)

Top Players: George Sisler, Jerry Willard, Phil Douglas
Top Prospects: Jason Bay, Brandon Duckworth, Frank Gilmore

Comments: team can hit like nobody's business, but they struggle on the mound, Adam LaRoche hit 80 homers last year but did not make top 3 player list.

5. Utah Saints
Managed by Me
Last Title: 2023

Top Players: Noodles Hahn, Virgil Trucks, Yasiel Puig
Top Prospects Matt Chapman, Baby Doll Jacobsen, Gus Williams

Comments: Team got to the ALDS in 2024 and lost to Oakland will be tough to beat this year adding Hahn and George Davis, expect them to be title contenders

Top Players: Brian Hunter, Chris Getz, Bill Hill
Top Prospects: Bob Savage

Comments: First MLB team in China and this will be a long year as an expanson team

Managed by Fred Bishop (4th season)

Top Players: Hugh Duffy, Juan Marichal, Kyle Schwarber
Top Prospects: John Wilson, Rich Gale, Rico Brogna

Comments: they continue to improve, Marichal comes back from injury also have Matt Kemp, could win 90 plus games this year

Managed by: Chris Simmons (2nd season)

Top Players: Stan Javier, Fernando Seguignol, Chris Redd
Top Prospects: Solly Hemus, Tom Kinslow, Larry Sheets

Comments: 2nd year team added some vets like Javier and Redd but another long season is in the works

9. Grand Junction Gold Rush
Managed by: Mike Bohannon (1st season)

Top Players: Pete Gilbert, Kelly Gruber, Don Weichel
Top Prospects: Steve Garvey

Comments: first year team that will struggle badly. Garvey stars the years in the farms

10. Houston Astros
Managed by: Craig Counsell (2nd season)

Top Players: Zack Wheat, Cherokee Fisher, Mike Menosky
Top Prospects: Dick Burrus, Mox McQuery, Sammy Strang

Comments: They won a lot last season but got knocked out early, should be in the battle this year with Wheat as reigning MVP

11. Texas Rangers
Managed by Tony Vitela (1st season) promoted from Bench Coach

Top Players: Russ Bauers, Juan Soto, Mike Tiernan
Top Prospects: Cliff Carroll, Gene Robertson, Matt Carpenter

Comments: Very strong second half, but always pitching poor and in the end that will separate them from world series contention

12. Cheyenne Black Aces
Managed by: Josh Wagner (1st season) managed Orlando Alliance in '24

Top Players: Bruce Springsteen, Oscar Mercado, Jeff Francouer
Top Prospects: Chris Carpenter, Brandon Phillips,

Comments: Not easy when the Boss is your best listed player. Carpenter and Phillips start the year in the minors, this will be a long grind.

AL Pacific

1. Fresno Bashers
Managed By Edward Bryan (4th season)

Top Players - Walter Johnson, Braggo Roth, Matt Kilroy
Top Prospects: Willie Keeler, Bill O'Brien, Leroy Stanton

Comments: They will contend for the division this year it seems. Keeler is in the minors. They need their bats to catch up to their pitching.

2. Bakersfield Red Aces
Managed by: Randy Waters (1st season)

Top Players: Garret Anderson, Wes Schulmerich, Carlos Sanchez
Top Prospects: David Peralta, Tyler Matzek

Comments: first year team in Kern county they look very bad on paper

Managed by: Andy Schumacher (1st season) was BC for Fresno Bashers

Top Players: Bill George, Al Demaree, Billy Burns
Top Prospects: Ron LeFlore, Justin Masterson, Otto Miller

Comments: 2nd year team with not much promise, Bill George will mostly win his starts though

4. Auckland Seadogs
Managed by: Ed Scholl (1st season)

Top players: Mickey Brantley, Jerry Priddy, Terry Moore
Top Prospects: Jack Crooks

Comments: First year in New Zealand for this team, they are going to be bad when a man who is famous for being Michael Brantley's dad is your best player

5. Oakland Athletics
Managed by Eric Martinelli (2nd season)

Top Players: Jeff McNeil, Michael Brantley, Les Bell
Top Prospects: Sal Bando, Eddie Burke, Billy Cox

Comments: lost in the ALCS in 2024, but with Steve Busby out for the year already they are not going to have an easy time repeating as champs in the division. Bando is still in the minors

6. Portland Lions
Managed by Bobby Calhoun (5th season)

Top Players: Francisco Lindor, John O'Rourke, Johnny Hetki
Top Prospects: Bobby Grich, Ken Caminiti, Bobby Bonilla

Comments: They will contend for division. Lindor won rookie of the year, and they have Chipper Jones and Caminiti will play this year, Grich and Bonilla still in the minors

7. Los Angeles Angels
Managed by Brad Ausmus (7th Season)

Top Players: Jim Whitney, Ed Morris, Chuck Klein
Top Prospects: Perry Werden, Steve Avery, Enos Slaughter

Comments: the prospects are all on the farm. Angels faded in 2nd half in 2024, hoping to have a better start this year, they should be in a tight rce

8. Seattle Mariners
Last Title: 2020
Managed by Aaron Boone (4th season)

Top Players: Schoolboy Rowe, Ed Reulbach, Kirby Puckett
Top Prospects: Silver Flint, Zack Cozart, Drew Stubbs

Comments: just missed the wildcard in 2024, still an explosive team that was let down by their bullpen in 2024.

9. Spokane Gangsters
Managed by: Roman Faulker (4th season)

Top Players: Dean Chance, Larry Hisle, Joe Lake
Top Prospects: Roger Clemens, Jay Bell, Eduardo Rodriguez

Comments: Clemens starts the year on the farm, but a one/two punch with Chance is scary. They get better each year, but their lineup does not match up yet

10. Tokyo Alligators
Managed by Kevin Hildebrand (1st season) promoted from bench coach

Top Players: Jeff Kent, Eric Chavez, Denny Lemaster
Top Prospects: Dan Daub, Jack Lynch, Tim Wallach

Comments: 2nd year team but may win 70 games this year as they signed players like Kent but still a long way's off

11. Anchorage Bears
Managed by Daniel Jarvis (5th year)

Top Players: Stan Musial, Jack O'Brien, Richie Zisk
Top Prospects: Wilbert Robinson, Jake Daubert, Norm Cash

Comments: team has always been on the outskirts, they don't attract free agents and their prospects develop slow, they should be 8-10 games out of first

12. Santa Barbara Dolphins
Managed by Chris Sumsion (3rd year)

Top Players: Butch Wensloff, John Tudor, Jim Gilliam
Top Prospects: Hal Newhouser, Ed Correa, Russ Ortiz

Comments: Pitching gets better, but offensively challenged they will still struggle.
