The 1936 All-Star Game
Continental Association Defeats Federal Association 6-4 in Tight All-Star Game.
Dick Walker shined brightly tonight against the best talent that the FABL has to offer. The all-star was named MVP for the annual mid-season showcase held at Pioneer Field II, as his Continental Association All-Stars downed the Federal Association All-Stars by a count of 6-4.
"It's humbling to even play in a game like this with legends of the sport all around you," he said. Walker went 2 for 2 to capture the honor.
With the victory the Continental Association All-Stars got their first win in the now 4 year old competition. An overflow crowd of 47,590 fans crammed into St. Louis' Pioneer Field to watch the game.
