Actually I posted this for CD... hoping that someone would do it... CD has trouble getting people to do work for him... I just wanted to help him out with his new league... CD is a good guy, but misunderstood many times... he very seldom post requests on the Forums anymore so he won't offend anyone... so, sometimes I post for him.
Personally, I am very limited in my graphics skills... I use justafan's great software, but I can't do anything fancy... I can't change colors of images... I have to use the color of the images I find... don't have many script fonts... my work is just average at best... I can't add images to logos to dress them up, like baseballs, stars, arrows, bells, whistles and other designs that might relate well with the nickname... mine are just basic in nature.... on some occasions I get lucky and do something nice when I find a good image to use that has good color combinations... then I can use it to make a logo.
I always hope that one of the talented graphics designers will do my requests... but that doesn't happen much anymore on this forum... it's not like the good old days of about 5 years ago.
I'm glad we still have a few people like poiuy who will do requests... also golem64, Isedelyod, rocknfire7, low, Lawn Loaf, No Pepper, BBGiovanni and a few others.
Of course, I would be happy if txranger, low, Lawn Loaf and knuckler did all of my requests... they are some of my favorites graphic designers... sadly, knuckler is no longer active on the Forums... and txranger is busy with his great work on the Retro Thread... same thing for low and Lawn Loaf... most of the really good designers just work in their own threads and do not do many requests.
I have been blessed in past years to have many of the graphics greats do my league logos, jerseys and caps... I am very picky and hard to please... and not really that good at graphics... I need the good guys to do my graphics.
In the past few years I just use fictional logos, jerseys and caps that the skilled graphics guys have already created in their threads... that is the easiest way to get great graphics... I only play fictional leagues and just use their fictional teams, since I can't create graphics well enough to please me.
