A bit of movement at the upper echelon of the official rankings this week, although not at #1 after Harvard recovered from losing their Thursday and Friday games to win both on the weekend and regain the top spot, albeit with a narrower margin. Positions 2 thru 7 remain incredibly bunched and we should see jockeying for those positions until the very end but it looks like it will take something extraordinary to happen for them to catch the breakaway two. Notre Dame are a notable climber this week as they press for a spot in the playoffs, with the Irish jumping 11 to #23, their first appearance of the season on the official list. Same goes for A&M, who jumped 8 to a season-high #18. Alabama is another making a charge just at the right time, and they jumped 9 spots this week to sit at #33. Nebraska has leapfrogged LMU down among the dead men, but this race, too, looks like going down to the wire.
