Side note: I look like a real Billy BA with my new EVZero’s. Hey, hey, hey… HEY LADIES.

8 of 162: Matt Peacock (1-0, 0.00) @ Michael Pineda (0-0, 5.06)
Loss, 6-4
. Bad news… we lost (Graveman gave up the ghost & blew it). Good news… we battled like a winning ballclub, confident in their ability to turn things around, does in these types of situations. And, yeah, you’re right – we’re getting paid, and trying hard doesn’t necessarily cut the mustard. Look, you can’t win them all, and dropping one to the formidable Twins is to be expected – they’re not the type to go quietly into the night – but I was hoping that we could extend this streak for just a few more games. Peacock gave up a run during the bottom of the 2nd frame, Joc finished 0-4 and is making his living well below the Mendoza Line (.138/1/2), and Fletcher got caught trying to get cute on the base paths… we’ll need to put this one behind us and move on to the next. Important question – are my new EVZero’s unlucky? Do I need to get them cleansed at the altar of Jobu?

Elsewhere: Eloy Jimenez, of the Chicago White Sox, went 4 for 4 with TWO TRUCKS, 4 RBI, and 2 runs during a 7-5 win over the Kansas City Royals. Jimenez is now batting .367/.457/.967, 6 HR, 10 RBI on the year, and is still flexing the best-looking soul patch in the game. I should give him my EVZero's, maybe.

Record: 5-3
Up Next: More silliness in Minnesota... might try to wrestle up a bowl of Booyah stew tonight. We'll see...
